Kyoku was a proud sponsor of this year’s Del Mar Food & Wine Festival, and what an incredible weekend it was! Set in sunny San Diego, California, this two-day event was an amazing opportunity to connect with food lovers, chefs, and companies that appreciate quality, craftsmanship, and culture.

From live watermelon cuttings to exciting raffles, we interacted with many guests who were excited to see our knives in action.

We handed out a ton of free watermelon and gave away free Kyoku knives and t-shirts to our lucky raffle winners. People loved the beauty and elegance of our knives, inspired by timeless Japanese aesthetics and crafted for performance.

The highlight of our weekend was partnering with Chef Brian Malarkey and Chef Jeff Roberto for special live demos.

Chef Malarkey stunned the crowd with a high-energy tuna-cutting performance, showcasing the power and precision of our blades.

Meanwhile, Chef Roberto brought his sushi expertise to the VIP area, using Kyoku knives to craft delicate cuts that highlighted the tools' sharpness and control.
