Manufactured with 67-layered stainless Damascus steel, the 6" kitchen utility knife is our most versatile kitchen knife. If you only get one kitchen knife, this should be it. The gorgeous, hammer-beaten herringbone pattern on the base of the tang not only shows off the stunning craftsmanship but also prevents food from sticking to the blade, making the kitchen utility knife practical for everyday use.

Why you need Japanese Utility Knife?
HIGH PERFORMANCE STAINLESS DAMASCUS STEEL
Manufactured with ultra-premium 67-layered stainless Damascus steel at HRC 58-60 hardness, this 6 in. Japanese kitchen utility knife boasts unrivaled performance and incredible edge retention; the cobalt added steel outperforms AUS-10 steel in durability and is easier to sharpen, since cobalt enhances the other alloying elements.
INCREDIBLE SHARPNESS
The utility knife's ruthlessly sharp edge is handcrafted by seasoned artisans to a mirror polish at 8-12° per side using the traditional 3-step Honbazuke method; cryogenically treated for incredible hardness, flexibility, and corrosion resistance.
ERGONOMIC & WELL-BALANCED
The utility knife's slightly curved blade ensures that the kitchen utility knife slices through meat with ease while alleviating fatigue and finger pains from long periods of slicing, perfectly blending control and comfort.
DURABLE HANDLE
The meticulously constructed, triple-riveted G10 handle has gone through special treatment, making it extremely impervious to heat, cold, and moisture; accented with a mosaic pin.

Review of Kyoku knives
I bought one knife for myself and one for a friend. We are both very happy with them. They are very comfortable in the hand and perform very well.

My favorite knife
This was a repeat purchase. The price was too good to pass up. VG10 steel is definitely superior to 1.4116 steel. I find that my knives of that steel require honing after each use. (Nevertheless, I also love those knives and use them often. The 1.4116 steel is very stainless.) I'm guessing that the Damascus cladding is applied for corrosion resistance. I can't remember seeing a knife of VG10 steel without Damascus cladding.

Utility knife
The knife was not delivered. To bad I wanted to try your products.

I LOVE IT!
I use it multiple times daily and it is always sharp! I can slice ripe tomatoes with it. It is SO MUCH BETTER than any other small knife I’ve ever used!

I love it!
Fantastic! It is very sharp, so I keep it in a special place-not with my everyday knives. It will easily slice a ripe tomato!
